Merry Xmas 2009

Well, it's almost time to curl up in front of a roaring fire and prepare for the film/booze/food-fest that is Christmas!

Personally I'm looking forward to watching Pete's Dragon and the Wizard Of Oz (or listen to the Wozard!) yet again.
I am also hoping someone (are you listening BFI?) re-releases 'Can Heironymous Merkin Ever Forget Mercy Humppe and Find True Happiness?' by and starring the wonderful Anthony Newly alongside his then wife Joan Collins...a lost gem...

So wrap up warm, strap on the snow boots, take a deep breath and tuck in!

Merry Christmas to one and all!

A little Halloween treat, The Mummy.

I must say that Universal's 1932 production of 'The Mummy' featuring Boris Karloff is one of my very favourite Universal horror's...well it's a toss up between that and 'The Invisible Man'. Don't know how many times I've watched them or how many times I will watch them but never a moment wasted spent in their magnificent company!

So this is my little homage to The Mummy,Karloff and all things horror. So for Halloween, get wrapped up and have a good one!

It's been awhile in coming, but is worth the wait for the 15th anniversary edition of IDN magazine, which features (amongst many other's!) Model Robot.

If you're not familier with IDN it's a multi-discipline publication based in Hong Kong that has been a constant source of inspiration and quality since inception. We're very proud to be a part of the celebrations!

Escape From Planet X-Illustration

Space is still deep...but not so much so if you're into 50's/60's 'trash' sci-fi...as I am...can't keep those images of Barbarella too far from my mind.

This is a production illustration for a possible short animation/comic entitled 'Leaving Orbit'...very early stages as yet, but the script/story is complete.

So it's the fourth of July (celebrate America!) and I've dug these three pics out from my American adventures, this time in Nashville. This was a pretty cool truck and the sticker on the back topped it off of me as a piece of Americana.
